CSLA Student Leadership Summit
February 6, 2020 & March 7, 2020
Who Attends?

Cobb Student Leadership Academy is now accepting nominations for 10 total students (sophomores and juniors) from each high Cobb County school, and one teacher sponsor, to attend the First Annual CSLA High School Leadership Summit, held February 6th and 8th, 2020. At this summit, we will partner with Tim Elmore, Andrew McPeak, and the staff at Growing Leaders, Inc to provide leadership training with a focus on School Culture and Collaboration, and Community Service Opportunities.
What are the Expectations?
After the Summit, the Student Leader Team will return to your school and, with our support, recruit their own teams to serve your school. The first team will be the School Culture and Climate Team. This team’s purpose will be to meet with Administrators and Teachers to determine what about your school’s culture is going well, and what could improve. Our goal with this team is to improve the quality of the communication and collaboration between student leaders and adult leaders.
What is a S.E.R.V.E. Team?

S.E.R.V.E. team (“Students Engaged and Ready to Volunteer Everywhere). Each team’s job is to come up with one initiative to engage their school and improve it. It could be clean up, repair, donations, drives, it’s up to them.
The best part – the CSLA will help FUND their project with grant money!!!!
